Praise for Theresa’s Books
Who You Know
Alan does a masterful job . . .Reminiscent of Bridget Jones’s Diary (1997) and Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (1996), Alan’s is a novel to be savored like a good box of chocolates.
A gorgeous book, superbly written with compassion and caring. Who You Know should absolutely be number one on everyone’s list.
This is a story that will have you saying “Been There” all the way through, sympathizing with the gals. The characters jump right off the page and entwine you in their lives. Theresa Alan does a fantastic job of bring these three incredible women to life. WHO YOU KNOW is a truly emotional book that I would recommend to anyone who has been around the block.
Romance Readers Connection
This isn’t your typical wedding-themed romance. Most chick-lit tomes don’t explore such issues . . . That’s what sets this novel apart, and Alan tempers the seriousness with doses of humor for a compelling mix. To that, add well-developed characters, interesting subplots, and a satisfying happy ending, and this is a strong effort that will surprise and delight readers.
The Dangers of Mistletoe
Within the pages of THE DANGERS OF MISTLETOE you will encounter a hilarious tale of two sisters, who are as opposite as night and day, try to help each other get through the grueling Christmas holiday. I laughed and cried throughout this lovely tale. The sisters are so likeable that you can not help but to bond with them. Ms. Alan pens a fun plot, charismatic characters and vivid imagery. The secondary characters are just as energetic and really balance the whole tale out. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Alan’s work.
Ms. Alan brings her trademark wit to this touching tale, guaranteed to make you both laugh and cry. The sisters are so vividly drawn and lovable that you wish they could be your friends in real life. A perfect book to curl up with on a cold December night!
Girls Who Gossip
This book has a lot more depth than the cover copy would lead the reader to believe. Alan does an excellent job of letting the plot develop naturally without a too neatly packaged happy ending.

Girls Who Gossip drew me in at page one and kept me turning well into the night. I couldn’t wait to see how it all unfolded. Touching, witty and utterly delightful.
Jennifer Coburn, author of The Wife of Reilly
Theresa Alan had me up all night! I loved every twist and turn of this moody, funny, and ultimately touching story. Helaina is a character I expect will stay with me for a long, long time.
Megan Crane, author of English as a Second Language and Everyone Else’s Girl
“(A) beautifully written book. From the very first page, Girls Who Gossip captured me and didn’t let go until the very last word.”
The Melancholy Dane receives a chicky makeover in Theresa Alan’s Gossip and Rumors, a modern-day revisioning of the Shakespeare tragedy in which Hamlet is now a young woman named Helaina, much of the drama has been replaced with comedy, and the result is smart-smart fun.

The Girls’ Global Guide to Guys
I loved The Girls’ Global Guide to Guys. I highly recommend The Girls’ Global Guide to Guys to all chick lit fans and to anyone who has ever thought about taking a trip abroad. This is a wonderful and fun read not to be missed!
With the Girls’ Global Guide to Guys, Theresa Alan delivers a brisk, funny, keenly observed portrait of a woman who wants more out of life than a soul-killing job and a tepid romance — and finds it on exotic shores.
Kim Green, author of Paging Aphrodite
Sex and the Single Witch
THE WITCH’S GUIDE TO LIFE is an intensely sensual read that will leave you breathless. Theresa Alan pens a tale with vivid imagery and compelling characters. Ariel is strong and sees everything positive in life. J.T. will draw you in with his passionate nature. The secondary story is as gripping as the main. I laughed and cried throughout this story.
Spur of the Moment
Alan shows that she’s capable of handling sensitive issues with an effectively gentle touch.
The players come across as real — kudos to Theresa Alan for accomplishing this feat. The uniqueness of each member of the troupe . . . make for a solid character study.
