This is the Big Stinkin’ College Comedy Contest, right? Or did I walk into an episode of Game of Thrones?” I lower my voice. “Is one of us about to die?” – from my WIP, Love and Other Punchlines

And I’m a girl who was NOT on the dance team and who could never do the splits (flying or otherwise). But the songs and (somewhat) sexy dance moves in Zumba bring out my tribal-self. I have a great teacher and I leave aggression-free (left it on the dance floor) and with sweat drenched ponytail. Great article Theresa!!

Reminds me of the time I convinced my husband to play Just Dance on the Wii with me. We looked terrible but were actually having fun…until his Wii-controller-hand accidentally danced (bashed) right into our four-year-old’s face. We haven’t danced since. Fun, but too many hazards.

Sometimes I feel like I should be medicated, but then aren’t the crazy ones the creative ones? It’s nice to know everyone feels this way, even Stephen King and Margaret Atwood, too, although I’ve never asked them.

This nails the feeling…well, for me, all the way up until 31. I’m still looking forward to that one! I especially love #25 – it’s a good reminder for life as a writer and a human. Thanks!

It ain’t all fortune and interviews on “Fresh Air” or “The Daily Show” I reckon.
